This is the link to the podcast I made on Podcast People.

A summary of the emerging technology: With this technology you can share music, and videos, and also make your own videos and post them on the web. This technology would be use full to use if you are giving directions and tape your self so students could get online if they needed help.

A personal testimony about learning to use the technology or the technology itself: This website was also hard for me to use. I played around clicking random buttons and made what i could. It took me about 30 minutes just to make this podcast, but I am sure for someone who knows what they are doing it wouldn't take long at all.

Tips, suggestions, or visual aids that would assist in demonstrating the emerging technology: when you add a song or audio save it to your computer first, it is much faster.

The name of the technology you are exploring: Mixbook

A summary of the emerging technology : With mix book you can take your photos and make an actual book of them. It's like a photo album but instead of sliding the pictures in plastic they are printed right on the page. There are different layouts and backgrounds to choose from to make it unique.

A personal testimony about learning to use the technology or the technology itself : I think that this was the hardest site I tried. I couldn't figure it out at easily as the previous because there wasn't set steps on how to use it. But once i played around with it I figured it out quickly and it was easier to use.

Tips, suggestions, or visual aids that would assist in demonstrating the emerging techology: To put the pictures in the book you drag them over to it. If you dont want the picture in it you drag it back. It takes awhile to upload pictures so be patient.

The name of the technology you are exploring = Roxio Photoshow

A summary of the emerging technology = With this technology you can upload pictures from your computer, Facebook, or other website and make a slide show with captions and music to share on the web.

A personal testimony about learning to use the technology or the technology itself = The technology is very user friendly because it has three easy steps. 1. uploading the pictures, 2.personalize, 3. share. I figured out how to use it by clicking buttons and undoing what I didn't like.

Tips, suggestions, or visual aids that would assist in demonstrating the emerging techology = The tips I have for using this technology is to just have fun with it and try the different options given.

About me.

My name is Mary, but I have been called Betsy for as long as I can remember. I am 19 and a Sophomore at IUPUI. I don't think I could survive without my Iphone or laptop. In addition to the teaching degree I am going to school for I am going to add English as a second language. I love children and work with them all year round. I teach tennis for National Junior Tennis League of Indianapolis during the summer, which is a tennis camp for inner city children. Through out the school year I work for the Baxter YMCA as an after school counselor at Center Grove Middle School North.
